Bakewell Silver Band are starting the new year and its build up to the NEMBBA contest in February and the Midland Area Championships in March by welcoming new and returning signings to the band.

With these welcome additions it has allowed for a shuffle of the playing pack with Emma Hunt moving from Repiano to Principal Cornet and Ruth Slater moving to be assistant principal. Deb Miles moves from Principal Cornet back to Solo Euphonium. Steve Grant moves from 2nd man down to the Repiano Cornet chair. Finally, Ian Charlesworth moves from Solo Euphonium to fill the 2nd Trombone seat.
